MARRIED LOVE

He wakes up early,

She still sleeps.

He has a busy morning,

She goes to him for her ‘morning hug’.

He makes his coffee,

She cooks their breakfast.

He reads the news,

She arranges his things in bag.

He takes his shower,

She irons his shirt.

He gets ready for work,

She ties his tie.

He eats the food she cooked,

She packs his lunch box.

He leaves for office,

She never lets him go, without a kiss.

He calls her in break,

She asks him to return soon.

He works sincerely,

She sends him a selfie wearing his shirt and jean.

He returns in late evening,

She wants to hangout.

He starts his bike,

She hugs him, head down.

He takes her places,

She fixes her eyes on him.

He wants roadside food,

She says, ‘Candlelit dinner’.

He argues for a reason,

She gets upset with tears in eyes.

He consoles her,

She smiles within seconds.

He talks about the day’s happenings,

She listens under the starlit sky.

He turns her wishes true,

She considers him, her shooting star.

He puts his arms around her,

She doesn’t need a pillow.

He keeps telling his dreams,

She fell asleep far before he finished.
